Individual and couples therapy
Meeting in person and/or online
In collaboration, let’s bring out the ingredients for a Good Life!
Jungian psychotherapy is a deep dive into understanding. It reveals – often hidden – reasons for anxiety, fears or, for example, “why does this always happen to me/us?” feelings. Insight into the root causes helps to identify where Life’s challenges really come from. This way, they can be influenced and empowerment can begin.
Therapy helps the client – an individual or a couple or a family – understand their own thoughts, feelings and behavior deeper menaings and their impact on others. Therapy supports clients in facing mental challenges and offers tools on how to continue towards inner integrity.
- individual therapy: strengthens to cope and find a Life that is truly one’s own.
- couples therapy: helps to be heard as the Self and strengthens building mutual appreciation, also a new way of appreciating and loving the other.
Alongside the conversation, I work with clients also in many other ways. Dreams and family histories often come to the surface through painting. The constellation approach brings to the surface transgenerational issues that may be impossible to express through talking. And so on.
Languages: Finnish, Swedish, English.

The goal is, to face safely, with a therapist, thoughts and feelings that previously have had no time or place to come up to the consciusness.
Meetings take place either in person in my office in Munkkiniemi, Helsinki, or Zoom online anywhere. Meetings are absolutely confidential. They usually last 50 minutes unless otherwise agreed. The first session is free, it is a chance to get to know each other, and at the same time an opportunity to agree with the principles of our possible future collaboration.
- Individual therapy helps to understand one’s own feelings and thinking patterns, to find balance even with discordant issues, and, above all, to become whole as Itself. Therapy can also act as a supportive guide, a companion when a big change ahead causes distress/anxiety/insomnia, etc.
Oscar Wilde: ”Find yourself; all other options are already taken”.
- Couples therapy is not only a form of treatment for serious disagreements. It works excellently, for example, in situations where the life pattern is changing in relationships (birth of a child, professional and other life changes, menopause and/or andropause, transgenerational tensions, etc.). Sessions with a therapist can clarify the principles of life so that a new understanding of the jointly valued power factors of the relationship can guide to the future.
Breaking up with a partner, divorce, is rarely an easy thing. It involves a wide variety of thoughts and feelings, some of them heavy. The process can be significantly facilitated by couples therapy – in a way that respects both parties.
In couples therapy, it is essential that both parties feel that they are being treated equally. The therapist is “for both sides” so that the collaboration can lead to 1+1=3 insights for clients.
Rumi: “Our task is not to look for love, but to find the obstacles within ourselves that we have built to block the possibility of love.”
Work Supervision
& Executive Coaching
& Organizational Consulting
Focus: individual-team-organization
Focus: individual-team-organization
Too often, an expert, chief, or manager is expected to cope alone, relying on their own knowledge, without a trusted advisor. The issues to be decided may be such that they cannot be discussed openly in the work community (let alone at home). From time to time, the blockage of work flow can be found in the dysfunctional structures of the work process and/or the work atmosphere. For example, in organizational changes, a big challenge is to empower people to find their place and motivation in a new work situation. In these situations, an experienced external professional can be a decisive help.
Work Supervision, Executive Coaching, and Organizational Consulting strengthen the client’s ability to see problem situations from a helicopter perspective, as a whole built from different parts. In this way, strategic thinking develops from theoretical insight into practice: how to proceed, simultaneously on many levels, towards a sensible implementation.
Tommy Tabermann: “At the threshold of hesitation, ask: How much courage do you dare not use today?”

My working method is strongly influenced by the “Human in Change” approach, which is based on hundreds of assignments and studies in Europe and the United States.
Sessions are arranged according to the client’s wishes, in person and/or online. There is often email communication between sessions, which is part of my way of working: I want that the client receives all possible information and support needed.

Portrait photography
capturing moments of the heart
Soul in the viewfinder
There is no such thing as an insignificant person (although some stubbornly claim so – even about themselves). There are only unique people: no one else is in the same way interesting as each one of us. The magic of portrait photography is to bring out this uniqueness – to attract the specialness of each person in such a way that the viewer of the picture sighs: “how strong, beautiful, touching, deeply human – the best possible picture!”
Do you want to capture a memorable moment of yourself, your loved one, or of both?
A successful photograph shows the Human Soul, its delicate, Life-shaped beauty. Something like this:
Indian Chief Crowfoot: “What is Life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a bison in winter weather. It is the shadow of a shadow over a meadow as it flees from the sunrise.”
Let’s meet!
